The book to kill a mocking bird, has very negative and predjudice people and comments in it. It seem like pretty much the whole town of Maycomb is racist and thinks that african americans are lower than whites. But what is prejudice, prejudice is pretty much just a prejugement of some one with out even really knowing that person. They might see the color of their skin and if it is diffrent than theirs they will not like that person. Every one is diffrent even in your same race, you shouldnt judge people you dont know. I think that the people these days are more open to that kind of thing now and dont look at colors so much. But you can tell that some of the older generations still have stereo types against other races. Like, my grandpa would kill me if i married out side my race and some of my uncle say racist thing. I personally dont like it when they do that. My dad now has become more accustome because some of my friends are black and he sees that they are cool people to. And they are the Pro Football players…lol. Butt, I think that we all have our ups and downs that is just a perso person thing not a race thing. You should only judge people that you know and are shure about.
